FASTCOM Technology SA announces the completion of the project at Geneva International Airport for the upgrade of SMACS solutions installed in 2010. SMACS ensures access security between the national and international zones of the airport. These were installed almost 15 years ago and have been operating without any issues since then. An upgrade has been carried out to ensure the sustainability of the systems.

After nearly 15 years of continuous, trouble-free operation around the clock, the aim was to ensure the sustainability of the systems while guaranteeing the continuity of functions. Furthermore, the upgrade aimed for higher energy efficiency and improved data security.
