SWICA, one of Switzerland's leading health and accident insurance companies, has opened its new headquarters in Winterthur for approximately 500 employees.

The Challenge
In addition to the elevators, the stairwells, as important access points and escape routes for the new SWICA headquarters, should also be secured so that only authorized persons can enter the upper floors – without altering the architectural design.
